The Indian Gymkhana Club Management Committee is currently engaged in a major review of the club and, as part of that process, we are keen to hear the views of both members and non-members.
We want as many opinions as possible, so we would ask that you not only fill in this survey yourself but please encourage any family or friends, of all ages, that have used the club in recent years to take the survey.
It should only take 5-10 minutes, it is completely anonymous, and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to do so.
Many thanks in advance

Indian Gymkhana Clubs’ Senior Vice President
It is with great regret we have to inform members and guests that our senior vice president lord noon has passed away on 27.10.2015. We convey with deepest sympathy to his family.
Lord Gulam Noon, one of Britain’s most prominent Indian-origin peers of the uk, passed away today at the age of 79. He had been battling with liver cancer for the past two years. He had briefly recovered following chemotherapy but his health deteriorated over the last six months.
Hello and welcome to the new 2015 cricket season at Indian Gymkhana.
With promotion secured by the 1’s last year to the Middlesex Premier League, this promises to be an exciting year ahead, both on and off the field.
First a bit of good news, in 2014 we completed the construction of our three lane outdoor net facilities. The nets sit well in the landscape and are already making a massive difference to our coaching style and practice of players young and old. Please make use of the nets with your captains and age-group coaches.
There’s been a huge amount of behind-the-scenes work going on since the close of the 2014 season. The square is looking fantastic. A special thank you to Dhiru Gosai for all his hard work in facilitating the winter work with our resident groundsman (Dave).
Following the 2014 AGM the cricket committee for the new season is as follows:
- Hon. Secretary – Sarbjit Dhillon
- Asst. Secretary – Harpal Bawa
- Club Captain – Davinder Rehncy
- 1st XI Captain – Rakesh Khade
- 2nd XI Captain – Anil Dhand
- 3rd XI Captain – Shariq Imam
- 4th XI Captain – Sohail Sheikh
- Colts Secretary – Sanjay Sood
- Fixture Secretary – Nutan Shah
- Treasurer – Chitrang Shah
If you are reading this for the first time and would like to join the club, please have a look at the contacts list and get in touch. We don’t bite and openly welcome quality and committed players!
I’d also like thank those who have already signed up to become members of the club. Our ambition and vision is dependent on a solid financial base so please pay your membership early and ensure you pay your match fees on the day. Don’t be that person everyone talks about!
I am convinced that with determination, resolve and a governing principle of family, recreation and good old-fashioned competitive (but fair) play, this will be an exciting year for us. The next few months, even weeks, present important milestones to achieve. This summer promises so many good times, actually make that fantastic times! Keep spreading the word.
Finally I’m crossing my fingers for a dry summer with light overnight rain so we get plenty of cricket and the pitches are hard and spinning.
Good Luck and please enjoy the season with a smile.

U12 cricket team blasts their way to win the area cup on Thursday 28 August 2014. Indian Gymkhana won the toss and chose to field.
U12 Cricket Team
Sunbury CC: 102 for 7 IGCC, the outstanding bowling performance was from Jasmeir Kukreja with figures of 3-0-13-4, including 3 wickets in his second over only narrowly missing out on a hatrick. Jasmeir was very well supported by Prasham Sundaram (19 for 1 off 4 overs), Amrit Mann (20 for 1 off 4 overs), Yash Gupta (13 off 4 overs) and Ahmed Kalair (14/2 off 4 overs).
IGCC: 103 for 6 IGCC: Two early wickets meant that the pressure was on, but a solid partnership between Mayank Dasannacharya (68 not out off 62 balls) and Jian Batra (24 off 29 balls) all but won the game for IGCC. A late flurry of wickets gave Sunbury hope, but a timely six from Mayank ensured that the West Middlesex U12 Area Cup was coming to Indian Gymkhana!
Summary: A fine all-round team performance by Indian Gymkhana saw them secure a good victory over a strong Sunbury side. Well Done boys!
Match Result: Indian Gymkhana Cricket Club won by 4 wickets
